Each winter this spectacularly decorated steam train goes on a magical journey through South Devon from Paignton to Kings Wear. The train is decorated with thousands of lights and is run by the Dartmouth Steam Railway and aways full of enchanted passengers. This print is the perfect gift for any lover of steam trains or wintery Christmas cheer.
The Train of Lights
Standing on the side of the river, in the dark evening this decorated train was quite a spectacle to see as it chugged through the area, throwing out lights illuminating the surrounding areas of its journey. To get this effect I used my camera's in-camera multiple exposure setting. I set it to just two exposures, and took two photos of the same view but one out of focus, and the camera created the merged image.
