Wildflowers

Am Brook gardens

In Ipplepen, near Newton Abbot, I visited this beautiful country garden as part of the National Garden Scheme, and loved photographing the perennial native wildflower meadows. The National Garden Scheme gives visitors access to over 3,600 beautiful private gardens across England and Wales, and raises huge amounts of money for nursing and health charities plus the physical and mental health benefits of gardens and gardening year raising cash through admissions and selling teas, coffees and cakes. I particularly loved the soft colours of the flowerheads, slightly blowing in the breeze against the pale green grasses behind.
